Devon attended the University of Colorado College of Nursing at the Anschutz Medical Campus for his undergraduate studies. Devon continued his education at the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs where he graduated with a Master of Science in Nursing with a post-master's certification in Family Practice. Devon has worked in many nursing areas, including pediatrics, emergency rooms, and intensive care units (specialized in CVICU/open heart surgery recovery and certified in critical care). Believing that education is a precious commodity, Devon precepts and works with the university as a site visitor and guest lecturer. My passions in patient care are pediatrics (newborns+), LGBTQ+ care (including gender diverse medical management) and chronic disease management.
When not working, Devon enjoys spending time with his husband, horses, donkey, chickens their cat and dog. For more than 15 years, he has volunteered on chute and arena crews on an 501(c)(3) rodeo circuit.
